Among all the stretches of sand in Laguna Beach, none is more iconic, more recognizable, or more accessible to the masses than Main Beach. Its famous lifeguard tower often appears in TV and movies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of America\u2019s truly \u201cmust visit\u201d beaches. It\u2019s bucket list worthy — a place you really ought to experience for yourself.

You won\u2019t get as much space to spread your towel at Main Beach, but with basketball, volleyball, a grassy park, a boardwalk, public art installations, and usually-mellow waves, there\u2019s no shortage of activities either. There are public restrooms at the north and south ends of the beach and benches for people watching on the boardwalk. If you have kids, they\u2019ll be thrilled to climb on the play structure, situated near the southern bathrooms. Lifeguards, wearing easily recognizable red board shorts, patrol the area, always eager to help visitors understand ocean currents and potential dangers.
 
This is one of the most well-known beaches on the planet. Unless you\u2019re extremely crowd averse, you should definitely see it at least once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
